Importance of Neuroaffirming Care
When we step away from deficit-based models, we no longer punish individuals for their differences and difficulties. Instead, we can capitalise on their strengths, celebrate their differences and offer support that improves quality of life. Our priority is to remind our neurokin that they are never too much or not enough, but instead just need to be better understood. We aim to SEE you for who you are and work WITH and celebrate you, rather than trying to force you into a cookie-cutter neuronormative box that doesn’t feel right anyway. Neuroaffirming care also steers far from traditional therapeutic modalities and provides an individualistic approach, considering the environment a large influence on how we move in the world. We aim to apply support in an anti-oppressive and neuroqueer inclusive manner, to break down barriers that traditional therapy often maintains. We want you to tell your story and know that it will be heard, acknowledged and respected.
Who we work with and what we do best:
Neurodivergent or Neuroqueer individuals (predominantly Autistic and ADHD’ers)
Partnerships (Polyamorous, Monogamous, Open, Non-traditional etc.) of all kinds!
Sexual health and difficulties
Desire, intimacy, and arousal
Infidelity support an navigation
Rupture and Repair support
Couple retreats
Workshops and events (relationships, individuals and spirituality)
Holistic care
Our perspective shows that intimacy and pleasure are not one-size-fits-all—they evolve with curiosity, self-awareness, and honest communication. Exploring your desires, whether alone or with a partner, opens doors to deeper connection and trust.
Pleasure becomes a space for empowerment, vulnerability, and joy, where boundaries are respected and authenticity is celebrated. By approaching sexuality with openness, anyone can reclaim their sense of intimacy and create experiences that feel fulfilling, safe, and uniquely their own.
“The door is always open for your exploration or closing, depending on where you feel you are in your journey.” - Lil Desille
A message from the Clinic Director
Here at Neurokinnection, we hold core values of authenticity, connection and accountability. We understand the challenges faced with starting a new journey, whether that be sensual, spiritual, sexual, emotional, mental or physical!
So we want to help support you to begin with, to then support yourself. But it is only you who can ultimately make the most of your own time, create and achieve your goals, and aspire to be the best version of yourself. We are dedicated to providing individualised, evidence-based, neuroaffirming, LGBTQIA+ inclusive and sex-positive care. We aim to uplift and highlight the strengths of each and every individual we meet; because every human deserves to be celebrated for their unique and authentic selves.
Above all, we want to encourage you to be courageous and step outside of your comfort zone. Daring to be brave means facing the uncertain, the uncomfortable and the downright ugly - all of it. But, it also allows you to deeply connect to your sense of self, and to extend this to others too. So every time you hear NEUROKIN, remember WE prioritise the CONNECTION.
Lil Desille
(Director)
Please note: Lil cracks her knuckles and joints during sessions, does not use typically expected eye contact and is a direct communicator (this may be confronting for some people). Lil also dyes her hair/changes styles frequently, so you can expect a semi-consistent predictability of changes in their appearance. Lil also is someone who swears, a lot!
